condition that you could donate to Westney for church and youth activities, please
contact Les Noble. The contents of the Lost and Found boxes are spread out on tables in the east hall. Please check
them for any items that belong in your house. Any unclaimed items will be
donated to charity. Registrations are
being taken for Vacation Bible Club, which
is being held July 19th – 23rd
from 9 am to 12 Noon for children entering SK – Gr. 6 (this fall). Flyer/registration
forms are available at the information centre. Completed forms may be dropped
off or Faxed (416-946-1678) to the church office or the information may be sent

of the Banns of Marriage between Brian Brumwell of Ajax, and Darlene Gray
of Toronto. The wedding is to take place Friday, June 4th at Westney
Heights Baptist Church. North of 50 Muskoka Cruise – Saturday, June 19th from Gravenhurst 11:15 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Featuring: a delicious
meal on Wenonah II, admission to the Boat and Heritage Centre, and the music of
the Muskoka Men of Song on board. Cost $46. Space is limited so sign up ASAP. Transportation

communication tear-off. ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A
SHORT-TERM MISSION EXPERIENCE? We
will be forming a work team to travel to Ghana Africa during the last two weeks
of May, 2011. The cost of the trip is
being estimated at $2000 to $3500 each. We would be working alongside the Ghana people
building a new church in the village of Subinso and staying in the village of
Carpenter. The church will be
constructed with homemade cement blocks.
We are looking for
healthy, strong-minded people to be part of the work team. People with experience working in
brick-laying, carpentry, construction, etc., would be a real asset to the
team. Orientation sessions prior to
leaving will be held, assisting us in understanding the culture, work involved
and area to be travelled. If you are
interested please fill out the bottom section of the form found at the welcome
desk and either leave it at the desk, or put it in Les Noble’s mail folder. Nominations The 2010 Nominating
Committee is beginning to prepare for the election of deacons and church
officers at our Annual Ministry Meeting on Sunday, June 13th. If you
desire to nominate someone, please perform the following steps: ¬ secure their
permission;
obtain the name of someone to second that nomination; ® present these to one of the
Nominating committee: Phyllis Brown, Ben Chong, Rob Fish, Greg Hannah, Todd McGilvray, or Dan
